“The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled.” Plutarch 46-120 AD

The Early Years Team at Winton are the Nursery and Reception Class.  The classes in the school are named after the planets in the solar system. Reception is the beginning of a child’s learning journey. Skills that they use as they grow and progress are based in the Early Years. The reception class is called Sun Class because their learning revolves around the key experiences and skills they receive in Reception, just as the solar system revolves around the sun. Our Nursery is called Little Stars, as they are their own little suns waiting to grow and develop.
