Welcome to Winton Primary School

Our school is situated in the heart of London near Kings Cross station. The regeneration of the area makes it an exciting place to live and work and we hope Winton Primary reflects this in its passion to help children make their mark in the world.

Our school provides a safe, friendly and stimulating environment in which children can develop a life long love of learning. From Nursery to Year 6, the children enjoy an exciting curriculum with an international dimension that reflects the diverse nature of our community. We take part in many out of school activities and use libraries, museums, adventure centres and the local area to enrich the learning of our pupils.

The children use a wide range of up to date ICT equipment to enhance their learning in every area of the curriculum. There are some great podcasts made by Year 5/6 children on the website link.

As you go through this website you will see evidence of our commitment to provide up to date facilities and an inspirational learning environment, despite the constrictions of our Victorian buildings. Our new sports hall, built on the roof of the old building, allows us to enjoy a wide range of sports both in school and as after school clubs, as well as being available to hire by local sports groups.

Our breakfast club and after school clubs provide top quality extended school services and are available to all children.

Our wider school community is extremely important to us and we have links with many local business organisations including the Guardian and CSV. We run lots of events and classes for our parents and carers both to support their own learning and support the learning of the children.
