Welcome back for Spring Term!
Dear Winton Families
A warm welcome back to school at the start of Spring Term. I hope you and your children had an enjoyable break and are ready for another exciting term at Winton.
We have lots of interesting and exciting learning ahead for children in the next term, as well as some events that I hope you will participate in and enjoy, such as International Evening coming up later in the term.
In Autumn term, we managed to reduce lateness by over 20% - it would be fantastic if you could continue to support us by getting your child to school on time every day. This really does make a very important difference to how children settle and get ready for learning at the start of the day.
Following last terms fantastic effort to improve the school environment with ‘Paint-a-door evening’, you may also notice a few improvements to our main reception area over the spring term. I hope these will reflect the high standards we have for learning and the diversity of the school community (see the other side of this letter for more information).
Thank you for all the support you showed for the school last term – and I look forward to a great Spring Term!
