The right to be heard.

Pupil Voice is very important to us at Winton Primary School.  In order to support our pupils on their journey to becoming responsible citizens and to be able to take responsibility for themselves and those around them we hold a pupil voice session throughout the whole school each Thursday.

Our Year 6 pupils are trained each week by Kim Patterson (HLTA) and Alan Alexis (Learning Mentor) to manage their pupil voice group, which will include children from Year 1 to Year 5.  Our Year 6 pupils learn to think about the questions they ask and the way they manage their groups in order to get the best out of them.

Each term there is a different theme and through pupil voice we can listen to the voice of the child as an important part of our school.

Our pupil voice themes for Summer Term are: 1. Team-Work; and 2. Financial Responsibility.
